The country is safe, says IGP

PETALING JAYA: The security in the country is still under control and police have urged the rakyat and ignore fake news spreading around regarding tension in the country.
Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Mohamad Fuzi Harun (pix) said that the people need to keep calm until the final announcement of the General Election (GE14) results from the Election Commission (EC).
"The security issues nationwide is under control," he today.
Mohamad Fuzi also urged political party supporters to not stage a protest or rally which could lead to public unrest.
"Police will continuously monitor the security issues nationwide to avoid any situation which would put our country's peace on the line," he said.
