New Johor MB to be sworn in tomorrow

KULAI: The new mentri besar of Johor will be sworn in tomorrow, according to Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin. He however remained tight lipped on the name of the candidate.
Muhyiddin said this following an audience with the Sultan of Johor, Sultan Ibrahim Sultan Iskandar
He said the name of the mentri besar will be revealed before the swearing-in ceremony at 3pm on Saturday.
Muhyiddin also confirmed that his name was not in the list submitted to the Sultan.
He was speaking to the media at Johor Pakatan Harapan's (PH) first official post-election media conference in Le Granduer Hotel in Senai, here today.
It is learnt that the state PH leadership had submitted a total of two names, one each from Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia (PPBM) and Parti Amanah Negara.
According to sources, the names of PPBM secretary Datuk Osman Sapian and Parti Amanah Negara vice president Salahuddin Ayub were in the list.
PH obtained the mandate to form the state government after winning 36 of the Johor state seats in the 14th General Election, while Barisan Nasional (BN) garnered 19 seats and PAS just one.
