Seven students injured in bus-lorry collision

JOHOR BAHRU: Seven students were injured in an accident when the school bus they were travelling in collided with a lorry at Jalan Sungai Rengit-Kota Tinggi, near Kota Tinggi, today.
Kota Tinggi District Police Chief Supt Ahsmon Bajah said during the 6.30am accident, the bus from Felda Air Tawar 3 was ferrying students to Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan (SMK) Air Tawar at Felda Air Tawar 2.
Ahsmon said that the school bus driver also suffered minor injuries while the lorry was not injured in the accident.
Police are carrying out an investigation into the accident, he added. — Bernama
