When Prince Henry of Wales met Meghan Markle, it had all the makings of a romance movie.
The Lifetime Original Movie, Harry & Meghan: A Royal Romance which will premiere on May 16 at 8.30pm, chronicles the courtship and love story between a beloved prince and new fiancée.
The film will examine the history of Prince Harry (played by Murray Fraser) and Meghan Markle (Parisa Fitz-Henley) from the moment they met after being set up by friends, through their initial courtship when they were able to keep their romance under wraps, and ultimately the intense global media attention surrounding their relationship and Meghan's life as a divorced American actress.
Harry & Meghan: A Royal Romance will be followed by Harry & Meghan: Royal Rebels at 10.30pm the same night and will feature interviews from royal experts, exclusive insider stories from former palace staff, and exciting archival footage and photos that reveal the secrets and traditions behind a royal wedding.
