Food supply sufficient for Ramadan and Aidilfitri

PUTRAJAYA: The supply for food products such as chicken, meat and fruits are adequate for Ramadan till Aidilfitri.
Agriculture and Agro-based Industry Ministry secretary-general Datuk Seri Dr Ismail Bakar also said the price of the products would remain stable throughout the period.
"Export restrictions have been imposed since May 1 to ensure adequate domestic supply in the Aidilfitri season," he told reporters after launching the Ambang Ramadan Putrajaya farmers' market here today.
