KUALA LUMPUR: The ongoing raids on residences linked with former Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Abdul Razak in six different locations, intensified tonight.
Personnel from the Bukit Aman Commercial CID unit led by its director Commissioner Datuk Seri Amar Singh arrived at Pavillion Residences in several patrol cars at 7.40pm.
Onlookers and media gathered outside the luxury condominium, looking on curiously.
A Black Maria was seen entering the loading bay, believed to facilitate the transportation of more seized items following two trucks earlier.
Amar is expected to hold a press conference shortly, to confirm earlier reports of the raid.
The special police team investigating the 1Malaysia Development Bhd (1MDB) raided the same location yesterday, along with simultaneous raids at other spots including Najib’s private residence in Taman Duta.
