Sime Darby Property shares rise on JV with Mitsui

    PETALING JAYA: Sime Darby Property Bhd saw its share price rise 1 sen this morning after announcing a joint venture with Japan’s Mitsui & Co Ltd and Mitsubishi Estate Co Ltd.
    At midday, its share price was 0.69% or 1 sen higher at RM1.45 with 1.86 million shares traded.
    Yesterday, Sime Darby Property said it will partner the two Japanese firms to develop and lease built-to-suit industrial facilities on a 39-acre site at the Bandar Bukit Raja integrated township in Klang, Selangor.
    The RM530 million project will comprise warehouses and logistics facilities, offering tailored features to suit operational requirements of business tenants.
