Bukit Aman Commercial Crime Investigation Department director, Datuk Seri Amar Singh Ishar Singh, said 284 boxes of luxury brand handbags were also confiscated from three more residential condominium units in the same area.
Najib and Rosmah had been blacklisted by the Immigration Department from leaving the country.
On Tuesday, Dr Mahathir said he expected the charge to be imposed on Najib following an investigation into claims that the former prime minister had stolen hundreds of millions of US dollars from 1MDB's fund. — Bernama
