Liew said his lawyer is collecting evidence to mount a legal challenge following the recently concluded 14th general election.
"If we find enough evidence, we will consider filing a lawsuit on the outcome of the results," he said after launching the Yong Peng DAP community centre on Sunday.
In GE14, Liew secured 16,773 votes, while incumbent Datuk Seri Wee Ka Siong won the federal seat with a majority of 303 votes after securing 17,076 votes.

The result also recorded 556 rejected ballots, and 94 unreturned ballots.
The turnout rate was 85.52% out of 46,157 registered electors in the constituency.
