Cops nab two perverts

PETALING JAYA: Police have successfully arrested two men after they committed lewd acts on their victims in separate incidents, thanks to quick thinking by the public and police personnel.
Petaling Jaya district police chief ACP Mohd Zani Che Din said in the first incident on Monday, police were alerted to a commotion at the SS2 night market at 8.50pm.
"Upon arriving at the scene, police saw a 55-year-old man struggling with a group of men. Police were told that the suspect had ejaculated on the victim's back with stains of it visible on her hair and clothes. The victim's sibling witnessed the incident," he said today.
Mohd Zani said the victim, 20, earlier felt someone splashing some liquid on her back when she was walking with her sibling at the night market.
"The suspect suddenly appeared from behind and ejaculated his semen on the victim before escaping into the crowd," he said.
Meanwhile, a 21-year-old suspect was detained for allegedly molesting a woman on the escalator at the Kota Damansara MRT station today.
Mohd Zani said in the 6.45am incident, the victim, 25, got onto the escalator and saw the suspect standing in front of her before moving past her.
As they reached the end of the escalator, the suspect suddenly turned around to grab her hip before escaping on the opposite escalator.
The victim then immediately alerted auxiliary policemen on duty.
Mohd Zani said auxiliary policemen managed to trace the suspect within minutes, passing through the lobby before making an arrest.
