Thunderstorms, rough seas warning

KUALA LUMPUR: Thunderstorms, heavy rain and strong winds are expected to prevail until 2pm today in the waters off Perlis, Kedah, Penang, Perak and Western Sarawak.
Meteorological Department, in a statement, said these conditions might cause strong winds of up to 50kph and rough seas with waves reaching as high as 3.5m, which were dangerous for small boats.
A similar situation was also forecast in the the waters off Phuket, Northern Strait of Malacca, Samui, Condore and Reef South until 2pm today. — Bernama
