PETALING JAYA: Azran Osman Rani, the former AirAsia X and iFlix CEO, was hit by a car today while he was riding his bicycle on Jalan Tuanku Abdul Halim (Jalan Duta), Kuala Lumpur.
He suffered injuries to his to his head and left hand.
Kuala Lumpur Traffic Investigation and Enforcement chief ACP Zulkefly Yahya said a 20-year-old student was driving the car.
"He had made a left turn at an exit without noticing the cyclist and hit him," he said.
The case is being investigated under Section 43(1) of the Road Transport Act 1987.
Azran is being treated in Hospital Kuala Lumpur.
