(Video) Robbers fail to break jewellery display case, leave empty-handed

JOHOR BARU: Four robbers barged into a jewellery store at AEON shopping centre in Taman Dato' Onn here but left empty-handed in the failed heist around 7.30pm on Saturday.
A video clip which went viral on social media shows a group of robbers barging into the Poh Kong jewellery store. Armed with a hammer, one of them attempts to smash the display glass. However, the glass failed to break after several smashes and the robbers immediately fled the scene.
The four, all clad in black and donning face masks, were seen carrying sharp objects and firearms but did not open fire.
Police rushed to the scene and investigation is still ongoing. Johor Baru South (JBS) district police chief ACP Shahurinain Jais confirmed the case.
