Irwan Serigar no longer member of BNM Board

    KUALA LUMPUR: Former Treasury secretary-general Tan Sri Dr Mohd Irwan Serigar Abdullah is no longer a member of Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM) board of directors.
    "Since Irwan has ceased to hold the office of secretary-general to the Treasury with effect from May 14, 2018, he is no longer a member of BNM Board with effect from that date," BNM said in a statement today.
    Last week, chief secretary to the government Tan Sri Dr Ali Hamsa announced that Irwan was immediately transferred to the Public Service Department.
