2,500 new Serena booked, 757 registered

EDARAN Tan Chong Motor Sdn Bhd (ETCM) has announced that 2,500 bookings of the new Nissan Serena S-Hybrid have been recorded as of yesterday. Of that, 757 units have been registered in just four weeks after its official launch.
In response to the overwhelming bookings, ETCM sales and marketing director Christopher Tan said: “Bookings for the all-new Nissan Serena S-Hybrid has demonstrated the great acceptance of a hot new model from ETCM and we thank all our customers for their support. We will continue to deliver quality products; and at the same time, we are increasing our production to ensure that all-new Nissan Serena S-Hybrid are delivered on time to our valued customers.”
In commemorating this achievement, a key handover ceremony was held at ETCM Jalan Raja Laut in Kuala Lumpur for a proud owner of the new Serena S-Hybrid, Lokman Hakim Mohamed Yusoff. Also present were Tan and Nissan Motor Asia Pacific Co Ltd vice president of marketing and sales (Asia and Oceania), Vincent Wijnen, to witness the special moment.
The new Nissan Serena S-Hybrid comes with new intelligent technologies and features that are thoughtful conveniences. Nissan Intelligent Mobility (NIM) features have been added to provide a more exciting, confident and connected drive which includes first in its class Intelligent Around View Monitor (I-AVM), four cameras that provide a 360-degree bird’s-eye view of the vehicle for easier navigation. There are also an Intelligent Moving Object Detection (I-MOD) feature that detects moving objects surrounding the vehicle to alert the driver, hands-free dual power sliding doors that operate by a simple quick kick below the door to open or close, seven USB-powered ports for each passenger’s electronic device charging needs, dual back door that can be opened easily even in tight parking spaces and six SRS airbags that come standard, among other safety features.
Additionally, customers can also enjoy the “Best Deal Ever 0% GST” campaign, offering GST at 0% plus Duit Raya Savings which translates to an on-the-road price without insurance of RM135,195.59 for the Premium Highway Star and RM123,874.84 for the Highway Star (Peninsular Malaysia), throughout month.
