GEORGE TOWN: Residents living near the luxury mansion belonging to Low Taek Jho's family in Tanjung Bungah Park, said they have not seen the country's most wanted man in years.
A neighbour staying opposite the luxury property said she was unsure who the current occupants of the mansion are.
"I did not see anyone entering in and out from the house," a woman who introduced herself as Tan told theSun.
Another neighbour said it was rare to see anyone coming out of the home.
Other neighbours in the upscale neighbourhood approached by theSun, declined to speak about Jho Low or his family.
Earlier this week, the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) issued arrest warrants for Jho Low, and Nik Faisal Ariff Kamil, a director of SRC International, a former unit of 1Malaysia Development Berhad (1MDB).
The Singaporean authorities had also issued a warrant of arrest for the financier in 2016 during the administration of former premier Datuk Seri Najib Abdul Razak.
Low's last known address is 69 Tanjung Bungah Park in Penang while Nik Faisal's is 17 and 19, Jalan Tun Teja 35/16, Alam Impian in Shah Alam, Selangor.
