PETALING JAYA: Tabung Harapan Malaysia has amassed over RM54 million in donations since it was set up by the Pakatana Harapan government on May 30.
As of 3pm today, the fund has collected RM54,897,847.39

Since its launch, patriotic Malaysians have made generations donations to the fund, while the Malaysian Association of Tour and Travel Agents (Matta) have pledged to donate RM1 for every visitor to the National Matta Fair in September.
To boost donations to the fund, the Malaysian Trades Union Congress called on the 14 million workers in the country to contribute to the fund to help the government.
On June 5, it was reported that Matrix Concepts Holdings Berhad chief executive Datuk Lee Tian Hock donated RM3 million on behalf of the company to the fund, while several other companies have also channeled contributions to help alleviate the nation's debt.
Donations to the fund will be tax exempted, while Finance Minister Lim Guan Eng has assured that the fund would be managed systematically and transparently by his ministry.
Contributions can be deposited into Maybank account number 5660-1062-6452 under the name of Tabung Harapan Malaysia.
