Newly-born baby boy found in petrol station toilet

KUALA LUMPUR: A baby boy, with his umbilical cord still intact, was found in the toilet bowl of a petrol station at the Rawang northbound rest and recreation stop last night.
Gombak district police chief ACP Ali Ahmad said the 2.6kg newborn, wrapped in a batik cloth, was found by a staff who was assigned to clean the ladies toilet at around 9.30pm.
"The baby who was in a weak condition was sent to the Sungai Buloh Hospital for treatment," he said when contacted here today.
Police are still on the lookout for the individual involved in the case and urged those with information on the incident to come forth to facilitate investigations. — Bernama
