THM collection reaches RM55.4m

KUALA LUMPUR: The latest amount collected by Tabung Harapan Malaysia (THM) is RM55,386,342.38 million.
According to the Ministry of Finance's official Twitter site, the cumulative sum was at 3pm today.
The fund was launched on May 31.
On May 30, Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad announced the establishment of THM to enable Malaysians to contribute to address the country's debt problem, which had reached RM1 trillion under the previous Barisan Nasional government.
The public can channel their contributions through the Maybank account 566010626452 in Ringgit currency. — Bernama
