EATING healthy, balanced meals proved to be a rewarding experience for three lucky Kenny Rogers Roasters (KRR) patrons, who each won flight tickets to South Korea from KRR's "Fortune Saranghaeyo" contest. The "Fortune Saranghaeyo" contest which ran from Feb 1 to April 30 was organised in partnership with Traveloka.
At the prize-giving ceremony, Berjaya Roasters (M) Sdn Bhd senior manager Thila Chandran said, "The Fortune Saranghaeyo meal is our boldest meal promotion to date, which became a hit with guests, and this was especially evident when we received an overwhelming response from the contest.
"This was our way to reward guests to keep a healthy lifestyle by eating delicious wholesome meals - which reap fruitful rewards! The key takeaway from this is to advocate that well-balanced food consumption is truly vital in giving one the energy to carry out their day," she added.
Grand prize winner Mohd Amin Hadarih, second prize winner Zahar Amir, and third prize winner Suzan Vincent will be flying to Busan, Jeju Island and Seoul respectively. Eighteen participants also got consolation prizes of KRR vouchers worth RM200 each.
In addition to walking away with their prizes, the three lucky winners also had the opportunity to taste KRR's newly launched "Meriah Raya" meals.
A unique twist on a traditional dish, KRR has fused the flavourful ayam masak merah with its signature rotisserie roasted chicken for a tangy yet robust and spicy zest that keeps guests coming back for more.
Pair your meal with Kenny's Nasi Tomato to add more flavour and top it off with the crowd-favourite Riang Ria muffin, a creamy pandan muffin with a grated coconut base steeped in rich brown sugar.
To complete the dining experience, wash it down with a glass of Kenny's Sirap Bandung or the refreshing Kenny's Fizzy Rose, a blend of fizzy citrus crush with sweet flowery rose syrup.
