Fuel Shack chips in for Tabung Harapan

KUALA LUMPUR: Fast food restaurant, Fuel Shack Sdn Bhd will donate RM1 for every burger purchased by its customers from June 21 till 23. to Tabung Harapan Malaysia (THM) .
Shalimar Teahouse Sdn Bhd in a statement today said the initiative called "1RM 1BRGR" would involve all its branches in Malaysia.
"The accumulated funds collected from each donation will be channelled to THM initiative.
"We understand that just like us, many Malaysian citizens have the same concerns about the country. Through this initiative, we invite you to be one of the participants and contribute to your country," it said.
On May 30, Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad announced the establishment of THM to enable Malaysians to contribute, to address the country's debt problem, which had reached RM1 trillion under the previous Barisan Nasional government.
THM collected RM55,386,342.38 million as of yesterday. — Bernama
