KUALA LUMPUR: Umno veteran Tengku Razaleigh Hamzah (pix) has not decided whether or not he would contest for the presidency in the party's election on June 30.
The Gua Musang Umno division chief, 81, said he was considering the views of various quarters who wanted to put him in the chair while feeling that the job should go to a younger person.
"I am thinking ... from the aspect of age..whether I am able or not to go to all the 191 divisions from time to time. I have received my family's views. I'll pray over it," said the Gua Musang member of parliament at a forum on post-GE14 Malay dilemma here last night.
About 200 participants attended the forum to show their support for his candidacy as the next Umno president. — Bernama
