Airasia doubles flights between Kota Kinabalu and Singapore

KUALA LUMPUR: AirAsia aims to double the number of flights between Kota Kinabalu and Singapore to 14 weekly flights from Aug 1 this year.
In a statement issued, the airline said the increased frequency is expected to boost air connectivity between the two capitals and bring Asean closer.
AirAsia Malaysia commercial head, Spencer Lee, said the additional flights are in response to growing demand.
"AirAsia will now operate a double daily service. The increased flights throughout the day will allow us to offer our business and leisure guests more choice in terms of when to fly," he said.
To celebrate the added flights, AirAsia is offering an all-in promo fare from RM148 one way between Kota Kinabalu and Singapore, available on airasia.com and the AirAsia mobile app, from now till June 23, 2018, for travel between now and Jan 31, 2019.
The low-cost airline currently connects eight domestic routes from Kota Kinabalu to Kuala Lumpur, Johor Baru, Kota Baru, Penang, Kuching, Miri, Sandakan and Tawau.
It also connects nine international routes from Kota Kinabalu to Singapore, Hong Kong, Manila, Taipei, Guangzhou, Hangzhou, Wuhan and Shenzhen, as well as the latest direct route to Bangkok beginning Aug 16, 2018. — Bernama
