    32 passengers injured when their bus landed in a ditch

GRIK: 32 passengers were injured when an express bus skidded and landed on its side in a ditch at Km24 of the Grik-Jeli Highway here today.
Grik district police chief Supt Ismail Mat Isa said among the injured were the driver, who sustained serious head injuries, and an infant.
All of them have were sent to the Grik Hospital.
"Initial investigation revealed the driver lost control of the vehicle and crashed into the ditch," he said in a WhatsApp message.
The bus was heading to Kuala Perlis from Terengganu when the accident ocurred at about 3pm.
Ismail said the bus was travelling down a slope and negotiating a bend at the time.
The case is being investigated under Section 43 (1) of the Road Transport Act 1987 for careless and inconsiderate driving.
