PETALING JAYA: A minor traffic dispute involving three vehicles turned ugly when the driver of a Multi-Purpose Vehicle (MPV), who claimed to be a Home Ministry staff, shouted vulgarities and allegedly threatened another motorist with a steering lock.
The incident involving an MPV, a Sports Utility Vehicle (SUV), and a car was captured in a video that went viral today. It isn't clear where and when the dispute took place.
The footage recorded by the occupant of the car showed the driver of the car quarrelling with the driver of the MPV. One of them was said to have driven haphazardly.
The car driver claimed that he would lodge a report at the nearest police station for his own safety since the MPV driver had threatened him with a steering lock.
The MPV driver claimed that he is from the Home Ministry and blamed the car driver for driving recklessly.
However, in another video also taken by the occupant of the car, the same MPV driver could be seen using profanities and demanding the car driver to move aside.
The other SUV was said to have slowed at several occasions to block the car from getting away.
It is not known if a police report had been lodged by the those involved in the incident.
