Ride-sharing driver found dead, upside down in back seat of car

GOMBAK: A ride-sharing driver was found dead in his vehicle at a parking spot in Taman Selayang Makmur, Selayang, here last night.
The 27-year-old man, who is from Negri Sembilan, was found in the back seat of his car with his head on the floor and his legs upright.
Gombak district deputy police chief Superintendent Tey Kong Seng said the body was discovered at 8.20pm by a police motorcycle patrol unit after it responded to an alert by the deceased's stepfather to check on his vehicle.
"Medical team from the Selayang Hospital was dispatched to the scene soon and later confirmed that the man was dead," he said.
Forensics Unit was roped in to facilitate the investigation and so far they did not find any marks or wounds the victim's body.
The body was sent to the Kuala Lumpur Hospital for a post-mortem.
Tey added that police couldn't retrieve any CCTV footage as the investigation found that there are no CCTVs in the area.
The case is being investigated under Section 302 of the Penal Code for murder.
