BOOKXCESS has fulfilled every bookworm’s fantasy, with the debut of the first 24-hour bookstore in the country, at the highly-Instagrammable Tamarind Square in Cyberjaya.
The 37,000-square-foot BookXcess Tamarind Square is believed to be the largest bookstore in the country, housing over 500,000 books, each selling at BookXcess’ usual 50% to 80% below retail prices.
To mark its opening, BookXcess is offering 14 lucky readers the chance to score as many free books as they can in a three-minute basket dash.
All readers need to do is spend at least RM50 at any BookXcess store from now till July 22 to be eligible for a lucky draw at the end of July.
BookXcess founder and managing director Andrew Yap said: “Our goal at BookXcess has always been to cultivate the culture of reading among Malaysians, so launching BookXcess at Tamarind Square is a dream come true for us.
“The cost of books is a concern for many book lovers. With the launch of the nation’s biggest bookstore and half a million books offered at attractive prices, we hope to reach a wider audience of readers in Cyberjaya, the Klang Valley, Seremban, Putrajaya, and more.”
Finding a good book is a breeze at BookXcess’ latest haven for bookworms.
From art and design, to fiction, non-fiction, children’s books, and everything in between, you’ll be sure to find some great gems among the thousands at BookXcess Tamarind Square.
There you can also find specially-curated selections of books, and plenty of quiet nooks to browse through the pages in this aesthetically-pleasing outlet.
Yap said: “We’ve worked closely with interior designers to express our vision of utilising the entire 37,000sq ft of space to make it as conducive as possible for the reading community, including [adding] an in-store cafe for customers to grab a drink and snack at any time of the day.
“We want to create a reading haven at BookXcess Tamarind Square, where customers can take time away from the busy city life and find inspiration among the green surroundings and our books.”
