Starry nights at Arena of Stars

HONG KONG singers William So and Edmond Leung will be performing their So Man concert at the Arena of Stars, Resorts World Genting, on July 28.
The two long-standing artistes in the Hong Kong entertainment scene were bandmates in supergroup Band of Brothers, but this will be their first time performing as a double act.
Both singers launched their careers after competing in the New Talent Singing Awards, where So came in second in 1985, while Leung was a finalist in 1989.
Earning the moniker ‘Love Song Prince’, So has released over 20 albums and appeared in dozens of TV series and films, including the popular Healing Hands series, where he sang its theme song.
Award-winning Leung, known for his hits such as A Man in the Closet and Get Lost/Cheating featuring Miriam Yeung, has over 30 albums in his name as well as appeared in eight TV series and more than 30 films.
Meanwhile, the Arena of Stars will also be playing host to Wu Bai and China Blue. The ‘king of Chinese rock’ will be shaking up the arena on Sept 15.

The Taiwanese star and the rest of his China Blue band – Dean Zavolta (drums), Yu Ta-Hao (keyboards), and Chu Chien-Hui (bass) – had their major breakthrough with their third album, The End of Love, which sold over 600,000 copies.
