Booking made easy the Klook way

HONG KONG-BASED activities booking platform Klook officially announced its presence in Malaysia recently.
The four-year-old company opened its Malaysian office in November last year, and has since added a new service to its growing online and mobile offerings.
Klook is a service that lets its users buy tickets to tours, experiences, attractions, shows, theme parks, and more from one centralised app and website.
Klook Southeast Asia marketing head Marcus Yong said: “It’s a very exciting time to be in Malaysia, given recent changes to the economic and political landscape in the country, and Malaysians’ growing appetite for travel.
“In the coming months, we will be looking to launch local payments options, as well as local activities and experiences.”
Currently, Klook is offering over 40,000 bookable experiences across more than 200 destinations around the world. These include destinations in East Asia, Southeast Asia, the Middle East, Oceania, Europe, and North America.
Most of the bookings through Klook feature same-day reservations and instant confirmation, e-tickets for faster access, and discounts.
However, some of Klook’s service partners may prefer printed tickets, and others may still require customers to line up to pick up their physical passes.
Klook has also recently launched a food and dining booking service that allows users to filter the menus based on specific criteria, including whether it is halal.
However, the selection and availability are still limited.
Klook is available as a website or an app for Android and iOS devices. Currently, there is a promo code which will give users an additional 7% discount off of all theme parks, travel activities, and essentials such as airport transfers, transport tickets, pocket WiFi, and more.
Promotion ends July 15.
