A celebration of brotherhood

SKOL has unveiled a bold new look that celebrates the bond of brotherhood. First introduced in 2004, Skol’s new design features two mugs clinking, symbolising an intangible bond shared between friends you consider bros.
Carlsberg Malaysia managing director Lars Lehmann said: “Skol has a strong following among Malaysian drinkers who thirst for its crisp yet refreshing taste.
“To spur some excitement among our consumers, we gave Skol an all-new refreshed boost to its packaging with a splash of vibrant yellow, and a tinge of silver and red.”
Lars said the new icon is an apt illustration of the ‘Cheers to Brotherhood’ tagline, adding that based on consumer insights, “the majority of Skol drinkers are males who simply enjoy ‘bro’ moments together, where they let loose and appreciate their brotherhood bond”.
To celebrate the new Skol look, there are exciting activities happening at participating food courts and coffee shops nationwide. These include performances, as well as games and lucky draws where Skol beer and cash prizes are up for grabs.
Catch these shows at Yeap Pei Tse in Sitiawan tonight (July 3); Ninety Six Food Stall in Teluk Intan, and Restaurant Tan Catering in Malacca, tomorrow (July 4); Restoran Enam Enam Tiga Tiga in Sitiawan on Thursday (July 5); and Restoran Makanan Laut Meai Siang in Pantai Remis on Friday (July 6).
Meanwhile, the last five shows will take place at Restoran Ah Wui in Mentakab, Pahang, on July 21; Restoran Xin Fong Inn in Sungai Petani on July 25; Kaktao Foodcourt in Tanjong Piandang, Penang, on July 26; Zhen Bee Hiang Restaurant in Simpang Ampat, Penang; and Kedai Makanan Hong Yun in Taiping on July 28.
