Simply the Best

Daikin Malaysia recently announced its continued support for the Rio Olympics duo, Chan Peng Soon and Goh Liu Ying, the badminton mixed doubles pair who nabbed the silver at the Olympic Games Rio 2016.

“We strongly believe that their potential and determination to become the best in badminton throughout the years is well aligned with our Daikin brand and sets out a good example for us in terms of how we constantly strive to provide our best for our customers,” said Daikin Malaysia Sales & Service Sdn Bhd general manager Lawrence Song.

For the past two years, the pair have had the priviledge to work with Daikin.

“We’re really excited to be continuing this relationship with them for the third straight year as we felt this partnership best suited us in terms of our goals and values in the badminton community.

"Our competitiveness and drive to be world No. 1, like the Daikin brand, has never faded, instead increased our motivation to achieve greater heights” said Goh.

Declaration of the renewal was complemented with the announcement of Daikin’s roster of ambassadors comprising athletes in badminton and track cycling.

The team of delegates now comprise badminton aces Chan and Goh as well as three of the nation’s top cyclists - UCI Track Cycling World Champion Azizulhasni Awang, four-time SEA Games Gold Medalist Fatehah Mustapa and Asian Junior Cycling Championships Bronze Medalist Nur Aiman Rosli.
