Lexis steps up to help country

PORT DICKSON: The Lexis Hotel Group has launched a campaign to support Tabung Harapan Malaysia which ends July 8.
Its president, Mandy Chew Siok Cheng, said Lexis Port Dickson, Grand Lexis and Lexis Hibiscus in Negri Sembilan have been donating RM3 per occupied room since June 25.
"Our country needs us now. It is a privilege as a Malaysian to support nation-building, especially at this time of need. We hope it will go a long way in bringing a sense of togetherness, not just as a company but as as community too," she said at a press conference today, adding there'll be another campaign among its staff members soon.
The RM33,390 they hope to raise from the sale of some 1,216 rooms will be handed over to the relevant representative soon. — Bernama
