Real taste of 'Mesra'

The first batch of 44 winners got a taste of Petronas “mesra” recently. While the bi-monthly grand prize-winners only had to spend an accumulated amount of RM500 across two months on fuel or Kedai Mesra purchases, the monthly winners only needed to spend a minimum of RM30 in a single receipt on fuel or Kedai Mesra purchases.
Now here’s the punchline that’ll make you wish you were among the winners. Of the grand Lucky Lukes (and Lisas), 10 took home holiday packages of their choice worth RM20,000 each; three go all-expenses paid trips for two to catch the upcoming Formula One race in Silverstone, UK; and another three were presented with RM50,000 in cash.
Furthermore, a total of 14 monthly winners won themselves brand new Yamaha scooters and a Samsung Smart TV, respectively.
At the prize presentation ceremony, Petronas Dagangan Berhad (PDB) managing director and CEO Datuk Sri Syed Zainal Abidin said, “Unlike other promotions, where you have to spend beyond your usual expenses to be eligible to participate, our customers do not need to go above and beyond in their spending as the minimum amount to be eligible is only RM30.
“To put it simply, just fuel up, swipe your Mesra card and you will automatically be in the running to win these fantastic prizes.”
So, what’s keeping you? Although the Mesra Bonanza campaign runs until Dec 31 this year, there are more chances to win and win more, the earlier you participate.
Moreover, there are 165 monthly prizes that could see you take home any of these - Samsung S9, GoPro Hero6 Black, Lego Speed Champion set, RM500 worth of Lazada and Watsons shopping vouchers, as well as RM1,000 worth of Mesra points, apart from 44 grand wins every two months, coming up in October and December.
