WITH more than 550 stores across the Asia Pacific, Malaysia’s home improvement brand Mr D.I.Y. now has an online presence with the launch of its e-commerce platform, mrdiy.com.my.
The launch event was attended by Adibah Noor, Mr D.I.Y.’s brand ambassador since 2017. This year, Adibah will be spearheading Mr D.I.Y.’s new tagline ‘Habislah … Mr D.I.Y. Boleh Beli Online!’
The new Mr D.I.Y. online store offers four key features, namely Free Shipping, Mr D.I.Y. Express, Collect @ Mr D.I.Y., and the Mr D.I.Y. Guarantee.
With Free Shipping, customers who purchase online can enjoy free delivery to their homes within Peninsular Malaysia, with no minimum spend required for any order below 5kg.
And for a small fee, those in the Klang Valley can also request for express delivery where their purchases will be delivered to them within 24 hours.
With Collect @ Mr D.I.Y., customers can opt to collect their online purchase in person from any of the selected 25 stores within the Klang Valley.
And with the Mr D.I.Y. Guarantee, online customers are given up to seven calendar days to return any purchased item(s) to be exchanged or refunded, subject to terms and conditions.
Mr D.I.Y. marketing and e-commerce head Andy Chin said: “With mrdiy.com.my, we are now able to cater to a diversified market of tech-savvy individuals, who may not have the time or interest to visit physical stores.”
Chin was speaking at the launch of the website, which was also attended by Mr D.I.Y. CEO Marcus Tan, Adibah, business partners and social influencers.
Chin added that the online store also aims to provide a convenient shopping solution to help customers who wish to buy in bulk or have urgent purchases, those with limited mobility as well as help them save on petrol and parking fees.
“Customers can also send gifts to their family and friends when they shop with us online,” he said, adding that this is one way Mr D.I.Y. is helping to make shopping easier for customers.
With over 20,000 types of products across nine departments – Hardware, Household, Electrical, Car Accessories, Stationery, Toys, Gifts, Sport, and Jewellery & Cosmetics – customers can find whatever they need under one roof.
Add to that the brand’s tagline of ‘Always Low Prices’, it’s no wonder that Mr D.I.Y. has served some 128 million customers every year, and the number continues to increase.
To celebrate the launch of its online store, Mr D.I.Y. is offering its online customers an introductory promotion as well as a lucky draw contest with over RM68,888 worth of prizes to be won, from now till August.
Shoppers who make an online purchase will enjoy RM5 off on their first purchase with a minimum spend of RM10, including free shipping. In addition, all successful online transactions during the contest period from June to August will be eligible for the lucky draw.
