RESIDENTS of Penang – specifically those with the state numbers 07, 34, or 35 as part of the middle two digits of their identification number – are in for a treat from the Lost World of Tambun throughout this week.
From now till Sunday, they can claim two free child admission tickets upon the purchase of two adult entrance tickets at published rate. They just need to present their MyKad for verification at the ticketing counter.
Lost World of Tambun general manager Nurul Nuzairi Mohd Azahari said: “Ipoh has steadily grown as a popular destination choice during the holidays, or as a short weekend trip for its history, rich culture and heritage.
“We are having this offer, which will be unique for visitors from each state, as a way to reward them for choosing Malaysian destinations.”
Visitors from other states can still enjoy the day park with other promotional packages and ticket prices ranging from as low as RM58.20 (adult) and RM54 (child).
There is also the Lost World Hot Springs & Night Park with ticket prices starting at RM33.70 (adult), and RM28.80 (child).
Lost World of Tambun offers a host of activities ranging from rides, to eco-adventure spills and thrills, pool parties at Jungle Wave Bay as well as various shows.
Let fire breathers enthral you in the Flaming Percussions show, catch the Malayana Warriors dance in the Malayana Story, and watch live animals perform in Tiger and Friends.
Throughout the day, there are also animal feeding events featuring tapirs, racoons, porcupines, tortoises, tigers and other safari animals.
Young visitors can also meet Kameel and Kamelia, two new camels that just joined the Giraffe and Friends family.
At night, visitors can journey to the Luminous Forest, the newest addition at the Lost World Hot Springs & Night Park. Go across the Bridge of Luminosa, meet Mother Sophea, a tree who illuminates the forest, and marvel at the healing elixirs at Laka Falls and Toadstool Field.
Don’t miss the forest protector, the 16ft-long centipede Shadowfang, and discover peculiar flora and fauna that glimmer in the dark at the Garden of Light.
A further stroll will take visitors to the Malayana Throne, where Chief Kukuntalu rules the land in a just and fair manner.
