Administrative assistant believed to have been murdered by colleague (Updated)

BANTING: Losing his cool over the constant taunting of a colleague, a laboratory assistant allegedly stabbed and strangled a 57-year-old woman at a vocational college in Telok Datok here today.
After allegedly murdering the woman at about 2.30pm, the 28-year-old suspect called the Banting police station, identified himself and confessed to the crime.
Police rushed over to the Sultan Abdul Samad Vocational College here where they found the lifeless body of Zaimah Mahmod who was an administrative assistant at the place.
Kuala Langat police chief Supt Azizan Tukiman said the victim's body was recovered from a store at the college's administration department.
He said investigators learnt that from the suspect claimed that he had resorted to killing Zaimah as she allegedly accused him of having an affair with another staff and often teased him about it.
Azizan said the suspect claimed that today, he lost his patience and attacked the victim when only both of them were in the office.
He said investigators also learnt that the victim was undergoing treatment for stress with the Banting district hospital.
The suspect was arrested and is expected to be remanded tomorrow.
A forensics police team was also the scene to comb for evidence and police believe the case is solved with the arrest of the laboratory assistant.
