Now you can literally “have your cake and eat it”, and in additional comfort in your home or office, with less guilt too.
Why? Because Daikin Malaysia just launched its most efficient series of Variable Refrigerant Volume (VRV) product, the VRV X air-conditioner. At the launch event, the “star of the show” was unveiled to the tagline “Innovation Xcellence”.
An exceptional creation and an excellent product indeed; the Daikin brand has long enjoyed good reputation in producing energy-saving appliances like air-conditioners and refrigerators.
The new VRV X air-conditioner uses Daikin’s improved integrated technology which provides for better energy efficiency and cost savings, yet is liberal in form and function.
“Energy saving is vital for sustainability. We believe in the future of green technology in our industry that led us to develop VRV X to not only help to provide a better cooling solution to all but also to ensure, we contribute towards saving our environment,” said Daikin Malaysia Sales and Service Sdn Bhd general manager Lawrence Song.
The highlight of the VRV X is the technology behind it, which is based on the “using only as much as required” concept where the efficiency of the air-conditioner gets a boost as the user has precise and optimal control of the refrigerant volume, temperature and air flow.
The VRV X also adapts to the surrounding and produces a cool and comfortable environment while minimising energy level usage, which in turn minimises energy wastage from over or under operating the unit. The air-conditioner is also suitable for use in residential and commercial settings.
At the launch event in Sheraton Hotel Petaling Jaya, it was revealed that the VRV air-conditioning system was first launched by Daikin back in 1982. Daikin was also the world’s first to use the variable refrigerant flow control technology.
Before the unveiling of the VRV X, Daikin Industries, Ltd global operations division deputy general manager Hitoshi Yogo delivered a speech. Flying in all the way from Japan, he spoke of the efforts and achievements of the Daikin brand, including providing air-conditioners for 25-storey buildings and spaces covering 25,000sq (half a football field).
