Croatian defender Vrsaljko: 'We are going to win this World Cup'

Croatian defender Sime Vrsaljko is confident that his team will beat France in the World Cup final in Moscow on Sunday. "We are going to win this World Cup, I think we can do it," the Atletico Madrid player said after Croatia's 2-1 victory Wednesday against England in the second semi-final in Moscow.
"Yes, I think we can do it," insisted the footballer, who insisted that Croatia will be able to recover from the wear-and-tear that comes with playing extra-time three times in a row to reach the final. "We have very positive energy, we're very strong," the 26-year-old defender asserted. "We were not dead, we knew we were going to win this match," Vrsaljko said of Wednesday's semi-final against England.
