Semambu assemblyman lodges police report over article in blog

KUANTAN: Semambu assemblyman Lee Chean Chung today lodged a police report claiming that an article in a news portal and blog is defaming him as a racist.
Lee claimed that the article on Malaysia Updates.com and daengselili.blogspot.com had been posted several times since the end of 2013.
"This is the third time I have seen a report that said that I have been quarrelling with former Bandar Terengganu assemblyman Azan Ismail and uttered bad things about the Malays.
"That is not true at all, the restaurant which is said to be where the quarrel took place at Jalan Beserah on Nov 19, 2013 does not even exist," he told reporters after lodging the report at the Kuantan District police headquarters here.
Lee also urged the two sites to take down the article immediately or face legal action. — Bernama
