PETALING JAYA: WCT Holdings Bhd's (WCT) unit WCT Bhd has bagged a two-year contract worth RM555 million from Lendlease Projects (M) Sdn Bhd to undertake the final construction works of the retail component of TRX Lifestyle Quarter.
TRX Lifestyle Quarter is being developed by Lendlease through a joint venture with TRX City Sdn Bhd, a wholly owned subsidiary of the Minister of Finance Inc.
It will be a central part of the overall TRX new financial district master plan, which includes lifestyle retail, food & beverage offerings, hospitality, leisure facilities, residential condominiums and a 10-acre city park.
WCT told Bursa Malaysia Securities yesterday that its subsidiary is entitled to be paid up to a maximum of RM27.75 million for carrying out the preliminary works.
