DBE shares up 16.67% after inking agreement to supply poultry products to KFC in Perak

PETALING JAYA: DBE Gurney Resources Bhd’s share price rose 16.67% this morning after it inked an agreement to supply poultry products to KFC restaurants in Perak.
At 10.48am, its share price jumped 16.67% or half sen to 3.5 sen with 6.76 million shares traded.
Yesterday, the group told Bursa Malaysia that its wholly owned subsidiary DBE Poultry Sdn Bhd signed the agreement with Ayamas Food Corp Sdn Bhd to supply poultry products to KFC all restaurants in Perak from July 1, 2018 till June 30, 2019.
The agreement is expected to generate a turnover of RM36 million per annum to the group, which is in line with its intention to increase market share locally and to maintain competitiveness in the market.
