SONGKLA: A Thai woman is looking for her younger brother who has been missing since last July 3.
Faridah Lahman, who is working in Malaysia, said her brother, Adul Lahman, 25, who has mental problems, had arrived in Penang, from Chana here, on a Thai fishing boat.
"Adul (then) asked a friend to buy him a bus ticket to Hatyai. He took the bus ride alone and was asked to get down at the Gurun rest area. Until now, my family has not received any news from or about him," she said.
Faridah said she had lodged a report on her missing brother at the Chana police station last July 7 and also requested for the assistance of the Southern Border Province Administrative Centre (SBPAC) and the Thai Foreign Department to locate him. — Bernama
