Youths invited to take part in AICHR Debate

    KUALA LUMPUR: The 2018 Asean Youth Debate will be held in Phnom Penh, Cambodia in August to raise awareness among youths in the region on human rights issues.
    The three-day programme from Aug 25, organised by the Asean Intergovernmental Commission on Human Rights (AICHR), will also provide opportunities for youths to voice their views and interact with human rights experts.
    According to a statement by the International Division of the Ministry of Communications and Multimedia today, the English-language debate competition is open to all Malaysian university/college undergraduates, aged 18 to 23 years, and have enrolled in their studies as of Aug 1, 2018.
    The selection will be held at Wisma Putra on July 21 at 9am.
    "Through this selection, the three best debaters will represent Malaysia to the competition and all expenses are paid for.
