Misleading information on job vacancies in Perodua on whatsapp

KUALA LUMPUR: Perodua today described as misleading, information circulating on a website and WhatsApp account regarding career opportunities in the automotive company.
President and Chief Executive Officer Datuk Aminar Rashid Salleh said the third party webpage and WhatsApp account had copied the information on existing available posts at Perodua with amended information on offered wage and benefits.
"We began noticing the posting on WhatsApp since June 24 and the post is still available on the website.
"We have sought the assistance of the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission to identify the website proprietor and WhatsApp account to remove the information," he said in a statement today.
Aminar also said Perodua would not hesitate to take legal action against those causing this unnecessary confusion if deemed appropriate.
"It has always been our practice to not engage a third party in our hiring process and suggest that those looking for employment or any other information on Perodua, visit our official website at www.perodua.com.my," he added. — Bernama
