Cops nab man for allegedly assaulting mobile phone shop worker

KAJANG: A 32-year-old man was nabbed after he allegedly assaulted a worker at a mobile phone shop, here.
It is learned the suspect went to the outlet in Plaza Metro Kajang about 7pm on Friday and had allegedly demanded the return of some money.
According to Kajang police chief, ACP Ahmad Dzaffir Mohd Yussof, the suspect created a commotion and even threatened to assault the victim's colleague.
"A scuffle ensued and the victim tried to break it up.
"However, according to what we got from witnesses, the suspect hit the victim using a motorcycle helmet," he said.
The incident was also recorded by other customers.
Police have since nabbed the suspect and also seized the helmet used in the incident.
The suspect has been remanded till tomorrow.
