IRB expands DFS 2.0 throughout the Klang Valley

KUALA LUMPUR: The Inland Revenue Board (IRB) will implement the Digital Franking System 2.0 (DFS 2.0) new stamping application process throughout the Klang Valley from Monday next week.
In a statement today, the IRB said that the DFS 2.0, first administered at the Cyberjaya satellite office on June 29, will be carried out at IRB stamp duty offices nationwide starting Aug 30.
A replacement of the DFS 1.0 launched in 2011, the DFS 2.0 marks the IRB's continuous efforts to improve its customer service, notably the stamp duty payers.
The new system will simplify data entry processes, prevent stamp duty forgeries and manual data entry errors, and allows for a more efficient stamp authenticity verification process.
With the DFS 2.0, stamp duty payers and agents can fill in the PDS 1 Form easily online as opposed to the manual method.
For enquiries, call the DFS 2.0 help desk at 03-8313 8888 ext 21279/21555, or email dfs@hasil.gov.my. — Bernama
