Trading in TAS shares suspended pending announcement

PETALING JAYA: Trading in the shares of TAS Offshore Bhd has been suspended since 10.37am this morning pending an announcement.
Prior to the suspension, the stock was last traded at 26.5 sen with 104,600 shares done. The shares fell 3.57% or 1 sen to close at 27 sen yesterday with 62,000 shares done.
The group’s net loss widened to RM31.34 million in the fourth quarter ended May 31, 2018 from a net loss of RM14.69 million a year ago, due to a write down in value of inventories during the quarter.
However, revenue for the quarter jumped ten-fold to RM18.93 million from RM1.85 million a year ago due to the sale of tugboats during the quarter.
