BNM international reserves decline US$100m to US$104.5b as at July 31

    PETALING JAYA: Bank Negara Malaysia's (BNM) international reserves declined 0.1% or US$100 million (RM407.8 million) to US$104.5 billion (RM426.1 billion) as at July 31, compared with the US$104.6 billion as at July 13.
    The central bank said in a statement that the reserves position is sufficient to finance 7.5 months of retained imports and is 1.1 times the short-term external debt.
