Police still tracking down witnesses of Thursday's RapidKL bus incident

KUALA LUMPUR: Police are still in the midst of tracking down more witnesses to Thursday's incident which saw a RapidKL bus damaging seven vehicles in AU2 Keramat and Jalan Ampang.
Selangor Traffic Investigation and Enforcement chief Supt Azman Shari'at said they need the witnesses' statements to complete the investigation paper.
"We are still attempting to locate a few more people so that their statements can be recorded to finalise the investigation. We will also be recording a statement from the bus driver," he added.
Meanwhile, Dang Wangi district police chief, ACP Shaharudin Abdullah, said police will expedite the urine screening process for the forensic laboratory.
"If the suspect tests positive, he will be charged for involvement with drugs-related offence," he said.
The Thursday incident saw the RapidKL bus plough into seven vehicles as it sped along Datuk Keramat to the Middle Ring Road 2.
A video of the incident went viral on social media.
