TH Plantations' CEO and executive director resigns

PETALING JAYA: TH Plantations Bhd’s CEO and executive director Datuk Seri Zainal Azwar Zainal Aminuddin who has been on garden leave since August 14 has quit from his post.
In a filing with the stock exchange, the group’s board of directors said that he had voluntarily resigned.
The board also did not disclose the reason for Zainal's, 60, garden leave in its previous filing dated August 14.
During his absence, the group’s CFO Mohamed Azman Shah Ishak who is also a Principal Officer, will assume the day to day management of the group and its subsidiaries.
In a separate filing, TH Plantations announced the appointment of Datuk Mohd Shukri Hussin as an Independent and non-executive director.
The stock gained 2.10% to close at 73 sen with 37,000 shares done.
